MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE: CARTAGENA
Last summer, I visited Cartagena. It was a trip I used to dream about. I checked in at a colorful hostel in Getsemaní and immediately looked around the streets.
I went back to the beach every afternoon because the sunset was beautiful. I picked up some souvenirs for my friends and ate the best fried fish of my life. If you go to Cartagena, you will fall in love with the music.
WHERE TO GO & WHAT TO DO
Where to go: You should visit the San Felipe Castle; it’s a giant fortress with secret tunnels. Also, you must go to Playa Blanca for crystal clear water.
What to do: You can take a walking tour through the walled city or dance salsa in a local bar.
TRAVEL TIPS
You should wear a hat and sunglasses; the sun is very strong!
You must try "Limonada de Coco"; it is the most refreshing drink.
If you want to see the best views, you can go up to the Popa Convent.
